I recently stayed in a traditional Japanese accommodation during my Easter break, and I had a fantastic experience. It was conveniently located just a short walk away from the local train station, which made it extremely easy to explore the surrounding areas during my stay. The two standout features for me were the delicious meals served, both breakfast and dinner, and the spectacular views of the nearby hills. I also loved unwinding in the onsite hot springs each morning and evening, which were absolute bliss. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.
To be honest, I can't really think of any major flaws during my stay. The local trainline passed close to where I stayed, but it didn't bother me too much as I was often busy out and about during the day.

During my Xmas stay, I enjoyed the spaciousness of my room, which had tatami floors and beds. the view of the hills was fantastic and added to the charming ambiance of the location. I also loved that the hotel was just a short and pleasant walk away from the station, and the shuttle service was also available if needed. the o-yu facilities had two great baths and separate outside baths. I enjoyed the relaxation it provided, especially during the mornings and evenings.
the staff was not engaging or helpful, which put a damper on my overall experience.

The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, including the o-yu facilities, which had delightful indoor and outdoor baths. The staff was friendly and engaging, always ready to assist with a charming smile. Finally, the breakfast and dinner were outstanding, with each meal being memorable and delicious.
Nothing all good.

We had an amazing stay at this ryokan! the location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to explore the area. the room was spacious with traditional tatami floors and comfortable beds. the view of the surrounding hills was simply breathtaking! the o-yu baths were a delight, with two indoor and outdoor baths, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day out. the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast and dinner were both outstanding!
The ryokan is close to a local train line, which could be a bit noisy at times.
